1-Minute Video Story: Camp Verde to Sedona

It was a beautiful bluebird day, so I decided to ride from Camp Verde to Sedona and back.

The description on RideWithGPS indicated this ride featured “mixed terrain,” and did it ever!

Combining great weather with some of the best gravel roads and doubletrack I’ve ever ridden, plus Sedona’s gorgeous red-and-orange cliffs flanking me on all sides, it was certainly a ride to remember.

In total, I had the pleasure of exploring almost 60 miles of this part of Northern Arizona. I also climbed more than 3,600 feet, which was tough on my legs after our months-long hiatus along the Gulf Coast. They’re jelly right now.

I’m excited to ride more of the area soon!
