Freedom

Desire to ride my bike rose,
Like a new-born bird I fell
From my first flight.

I tried twice
I fell from my flight again,
I tried thrice
I fell again.

Tears slid down my cheeks
Tides of perseverance rose high,
I kept trying
On and on and on.

Never giving up,
Putting my failure to the side
With more experience
I kept trying.

One day, I felt the bike gliding
On the street without me falling
I managed to hold it
And ride it.

I succeeded, finally
And that day I felt free,
Free from ties of hopelessness.
