Announcement: Winter 2019 Writing Contest Winners!

Congratulations
to the winners of TreadBikely’s first Winter 2019 writing contest!

Winners
have been notified and have 30 days to respond, after which I’ll begin posting
their submissions.

After
receiving more than 150 worldwide entries, its success far exceeded my expectations.
Submissions spanned everything from short stories to poetry, and even some story-focused
artwork.

Topics were even more diverse: some told stories about childhood events, while others focused on rediscovering cycling after years of absence. Many honored loved ones, both living and deceased, and also imparted important messages—from feminism to the embracing of new technology.

Whittling these entries down to just three winners was a difficult task, to say the least! Based on the success, I plan to continue running writing contests once per quarter, with the same three winners and payouts.

Congratulations
again to the winners. Let’s keep writing about the magic of the bicycle, while sharing
the stoke!
